Charges for load banks

As a manufacturer of resistive elements, we can supply resistive loads for manufacturers of load and unloading banks:

  • wound Hi-Power helicoidal type SI Model, manufactured using high grade resistive alloy wire. The resistance value of this changes little over the temperature range of the element. They are wire wound resistors composed by a resistive element coiled on a ceramic tubular core used as support, to ensures high dissipation capacity and excellent resistance to thermal shock and overload.


Specially recommended for low power loads (up to 30 kW)

  • High energy absorption Grid type GR Model, made of stainless steel or with the suitable alloy required for the application. Machined openings on the plate provide good cooling of the resistive elements. This type of resistive element offers a low induction coefficient, as they are designed in a zig-zag mode so that the sequence of tracks in opposite directions cancels the magnetic field.


Specially recommended for high power loads (from 30 kW)

  • Cemented type SAC Model, manufactured using high grade resistive alloy wire. The resistance value of this changes little over the temperature range of the element. They are wire wound resistors composed by a resistive element coiled on a ceramic tubular core used as support and coated with resin, to ensures high dissipation capacity and excellent resistance to thermal shock and overload.


Specially recommended for loads with a very low ohm value.
